Pellegrino 2000
Situated in Surry Hills stands our second restaurant build for the team that brought you 'Bistrot 916'. This was a design and construct working in closely with the clients great ideas that is split over two levels each showcasing unique design respectively. The top level features a huge spotted gum display shelving unit that is adjacent to the kitchen where you will find a long bar constructed from beautiful burl veneer with brass trim. The large hanging hardwood and brass wine rack really sets off the entire space with its moody LED lighting.
As you proceed down the stairs under the neon lights you will enter the second dinning room which walls are lined with wine bottles sitting on rustic shelving built from old hardwood rafters, studs and joists which we sauced from demolished houses. One of our favourite items we built here is the brick tile archway that leads into a wine cellar with more old hardwood dim LED lit shelving. A lot of hard work went into this fitout structurally and cosmetically but the end result was well worth it.
